Are you passionate about intersectional feminism and gender justice? Do you have knowledge, experience, passion, or perspective you’d like to share? We’d love to hear from you! No experience necessary. Gender Justice Project is committed to platforming emerging and established voices within the intersectional feminist space.

WE ARE SEEKING:

  • Pieces up to 2000 words in length on any aspect of feminism, intersectionality, gender or social justice (Got more to say? Make it a series!);

  • Your piece can be personal, commentary, criticism, informational, or artistic. We also accept art and photography;

  • We are passionate about showcasing a range of perspectives and encourage young people and people from diverse backgrounds to apply. We accept submissions from anywhere in the world. Written work must be in English or accompanied by and English translation.

Please note: Although we would love to pay all our contributors, we are a 100% volunteer-run charity and we receive no ongoing funding, therefore we are not in a position to often renumeration for blog contributions at this time.

Please ensure your pitch:

  • aligns with our values

  • relates to a topic appropriate to your knowledge/experience (e.g. not speaking on behalf of a marginalised community if you are not part of that community)

If you are invited to contribute to the blog, you will also be asked to ensure that your piece:

  • is written in an accessible style, with appropriate definitions of jargon and explanations of concepts

  • is appropriately researched and referenced, using either hyperlinked in text references or numbered in text references with a Harvard style reference list at the end of the piece

  • any images provided are free for publishing use

  • is not written or partially written by AI
